In this episode of Rinkside Rundown, I talk with Reece Hunt about her journey from Nelson, British Columbia, to signing with the Ottawa Charge in the PWHL. Reece shares her hockey roots growing up in a hockey family, her development through Okanagan Prep, Team BC, and college hockey at Bemidji State and UMD.
She also discusses her professional experience playing in Sweden’s SDHL with Luleå, the knee injury that ended her season early, and how she became a reserve player for Ottawa during the 2025-26 PWHL season.
